When to Go to Sunny Beach
The Black Sea coast of Bulgaria has a wonderful climate. Sunny Beach, one of the southern resorts, has about
2 weeks more summer weather than the northern part of the coast. During the months of July and August it can
get very hot, so if you can't stand the heat you might prefer to go in late Spring or early August.
The summer season at Sunny Beach starts in the middle of May. Although some of the hotels are open before then,
most of the restaurants and entertainment facilities are closed during the winter. Early in May you will find
that the restaurants are dusting off the tables and chairs and touching up the paintwork, ready for the season
to begin. The tour operators generally fly to Burgas airport from May until the end of October. Outside of those
months you can still visit Sunny Beach but you will have to take a
scheduled flight and
book your hotel separately.
When to Book Your Holiday to Sunny Beach
People often ask, is it best to book a summer holiday early or to wait and get a last-minute "bargain". It's
certainly true that in the 90's there were plenty of superb late deals and you could save a lot of money by
waiting until the last moment. It's not so easy any more. These days tour operators plan their business very
carefully to ensure that they don't have empty seats on their aircraft or empty rooms in the hotel. Yes, it is
still possible to get a late deal, but if you wait too long you will find there is little choice of accommodation.
Your holiday is precious time - can you really afford to take the chance? Our advice is book as early as you can
to get the best choice of flights and accommodation.
Package Holidays to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria
Package holidays are an easy and cost-effective way to have a holiday in Sunny Beach. Because the tour operators

the tour operators run their own charter flights to Burgas so they can offer flights from various airports in the
UK and Ireland.
