Camping Sites and touring parks in and around Sunny Beach, Bulgaria

Although there are no camping sites in Sunny Beach resort itself, there are several sites nearby. Camping sites in Bulgaria can be quite unlike those in Western Europe and the United States, so read about the site before you go. The facilities at Bulgarian sites can vary from very old and basic to ultra-modern and luxurious. Although there might be pitches for tents and caravans, most Bulgarian campers will stay in the chalets provided on the sites.

Lozala Camping, Aheloy, south of Sunny Beach

Covering an area of 10,000 sq.m, the camp site accommodates tents and touring caravans. The site also has bungalows with double bedrooms. It offers a restaurant and a shop. There are more restaurants and shops in Aheloy village.

Nessebar Bungalows

This might not be a camping site in British terms, but it offers cheap accommodation in holiday bungalows. The bungalows are situated just 50 metres from the beach. The bungalows are well screened by trees and plants. The bungalows can accommodate 3 to 4 people. Each bungalow has a its own bathroom, a refrigerator and cable TV.

Camping Zora, north of Sunny Beach

The impressive and modern Camping Zora complex is situated at the coastal resort of Obzor. It offers 11 bungalows, a two-storey villa with 8 rooms plus pitches for tents and touring caravans, with space for barbeques. The landscaped gardens include a children's playground. There is a restaurant on site. The site covers an area of 5,000 sq.m.

VTEPS Chernomorets

A short drive south of Burgas, and just 9 km from the lovely seaside town of Sozopol, is VTEPS Chernomorets. The camping site is only 100 metres from the central beach at Chernomorets and 400 metres from town centre. The site is situated in a quiet area. away from the noise of discos and restaurants. Accommodation at the complex includes a hotel and wooden chalets. The gardens include a children's playground and a football pitch. There is a restaurant and a bar on the site.
