Activities and Water Sports in Sunny Beach

You can join in lots of activities in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. From the beach you can take a trip on a motor boat or even have an adventure on a "pirate ship". The full day pirate cruise includes opportunities for swimming and fishing. Breakfast and lunch are provided, as well as beer for adults and soft drinks for the kids. The pirate ship will take you all to a quiet and secluded beach where you can sunbathe, paddle and swim and the kids can pretend to be stranded on an island.

Sports Activities at Sunny Beach

Beach-based fun includes water sports such as jet-skis, banana boats, wind-surfing, water skiing, para-sailing and hang gliding. The great thing is that you pay a lot less for your thrills in Sunny Beach than in the more traditional holiday destinations.

You can keep fit during your holiday by joining in the many games of volleyball on the beach. There are also top quality tennis courts where you can take tennis lessons, play against your friends and family and even participate in tennis tournaments. You can go horse-riding or take horse-riding lessons at the stables. If you want to go exploring, hire a bicycle and head out into the hills. While you are there, have a drink with the locals at one of the village bars. You might even get invited back to their houses to sample their home-made Rakia.

Quad Biking at Sunny Beach

If you prefer your off-road experiences to be a little more rugged and exhilarating, why not hire a quad bike? Just a few miles down the road from Sunny Beach you can experience the action-packed fun of a cross-country quad bike ride. Supervised quad bike safaris are suitable for adults and kids of 11 years and over, whether you've ever been on a quad before or not. Go Karting at Sunny Beach

Just off the main road from Burgas to Varna you will find the Go Kart circuit. The 440 metre track has night lighting and lap timers. For those of you who know your go karts, the club uses karts with an MSkart chassis and a 6.5 hp/200 cc Honda GX engine. The karting track is very easy to find as it is visible from the main road, opposite the Action Aqua park. Prices are very reasonable, starting at 10 Leva (5 Euros) for 3 minutes. If your bones are young enough to take the speed for 10 minutes, it will cost you just 25 Leva.
